Last night marked an exciting new chapter for Poverty, Inc.: the world premiere of the film in Spanish!
Thanks to the hard work and leadership of our Latin American Engagement Coordinator Lorena Palmieri, we were able to finance not only the Spanish subtitling of the film, but the full dubbing of the film in Spanish. This was crucial for the film's potential to drive conversation and change throughout Latin America beyond the limits of literacy.
We are so grateful to Lorena and her husband Fernando for their passion, initiative, and friendship.
Poverty, Inc. will make its DVD and Video On Demand release on March 1st, and we are delighted to announce that the Spanish dubbing and subtitling will be included in all purchases of the film.
